Thor-Kristian Island is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist and group analyst in private practice in Oslo, Norway. He is co-founder of Institute of Group Analysis (Norway) and he has been Director of IGA (Norway) for ten years. He left that position this year. He was also co-founder of the Norwegian Group Psychotherapy Association. He is training group analyst, supervisor and theory lecturer, as well as one of the large group conductors at the group analytic training program in Norway, since 1989. He has also been large group conductor at the AGPA annual conference in New York and IAGP congress in Rome, Italy and Cartagena, Colombia as well as large group conductor at many national and international symposia. He has been committee member of EGATIN and member of the management committee of GAS (London). He was chair of the 13th Group Analytic Symposium in Molde, Norway in 2005. He has also been member of the Board of Directors of IAGP. He has presented papers related to group analytic training as well as practice at several international congresses

Gila Ofer, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, training psychoanalyst and group analyst. She is a founding member and past President of Tel-Aviv Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis (TAICP) and a founding member of the Israeli Institute of Group Analysis (IIGA). She is a lecturer and supervisor in the Program of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at Tel-Aviv University and is on the faculty of TAICP, IIGA, and of the Chicago Center of Psychoanalysis. She is also convening training in group analysis in Istanbul and in Bucharest. Dr. Ofer is a joint member of the executive board, past chair of the group analytic section of the European Federation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (EFPP), coordinator of Eastern European countries EFPP, and the editor of the EFPP Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Review. She has published her work in leading journals and has presented her work and taught in Israel, Europe and the USA.

Avi Berman, Ph. D. is a clinical psychologist, psychoanalyst, and a group analyst. He is a member in Tel- Aviv Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis and The Israeli Institute of Group Analysis. He is the initiator and co-founder of the Israeli Institute of Group Analysis and its former chairperson. He teaches in Tel-Aviv University.

John Schlapobersky BA MSc. John is a psychoanalytic and couple psychotherapist and a group analyst accredited by the UKCP. He established the Bloomsbury Psychotherapy Practice in 2009 after many years in private practice at the both the Group Analytic Practice and Southwood Practice. He is a Training Analyst at the Institute of Group Analysis and supervises on their Masters programme based at Birkbeck College University of London where he is an Honorary Research Fellow. Miriam Berger M. A. is a clinical psychologist a supervisor and a group analyst. She is member of The Israeli Institute of Group Analysis, a former Co-president and one of its co-founders. She was the founder of the training program for clinical psychologists in "Amcha" Tel Aviv (an association for treating holocaust survivors and their families) and its first chief psychologist. Her professional experience includes therapy and supervion of post traumatic disorders. She has published a number of papers in psychoanalytical journals and contributed various chapters in books pertaining to areas of the above interests. She is in private practice in Yehud/ Monosson.

Bracha Hadar, M.A. I was born in Israel, Tel-Aviv, in 1948 to parents from Russian origin who immigrated to Israel when they were children. I am a mother to three sons and one daughter and a grandmother to ten grand children.
I am a clinical psychologist, therapist and supervisor in psychoanalytic approach, Bioenergetic Analyst (body-mind therapy) and Group Analyst. I have Private practice in which I work with individuals and groups. I have three long term analytic groups. One of them is for elderly adults above 60 years. My special issue in therapy is body mind connection, psychosomatics, sexuality and self identity.
